Fry and break up sausage. Drain and reserve fat. Place sausage in a lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish or divide between casseroles. Slice, core, and saute apples in some of the reserved fat. Cut the crusts off the bread and discard. Cube the bread. Combine apples, bread cubes, mustard, eggs, cheese, and milk. Mix well. Pour this mixture over the sausage and refigerate over night. Heat oven to 350, bake for 30 minutes covered and then 30 minutes uncovered.{$7e}(Original recipe for 6)
